Several caregiving positions are immediately available in the Avon and Simsbury area for experienced caregivers. Weekday and weekend shifts are offered, with both part-time and full-time hours available.
Ideal Candidate:
Caring and patient
Excellent Time Management skills, Flexible and Reliable
Experience in providing personal care in a home care setting
Ability to provide engaging and safe care
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle and insurance
Must have Hoyer exp.
Minimum of 2 years of home care experience
Self-directed and independent
Alzheimer’s/Dementia experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
Driving clients to appointments
Assisting with bathing, dressing, and personal care
Helping with transfers, mobility, and repositioning
Providing oral, hair, skin, and nail care
Incontinence care and toileting
Assisting with feeding and PT exercises
Offering socialization, engagement, and support
Meal preparation and cooking
Medication reminders
Client laundry and light housekeeping
Running errands and grocery shopping
Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
Benefits:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
