Need someone with strong curriculum experience.
We are seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic, and physically active Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and able to actively participate in all classroom activities, including floor play, running, and lifting. You will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and loving environment while adhering to state licensing standards. Betterteam +3Essential Physical Requirements
- Mobility: Must have full range of motion to lift, reach, squat, climb, sit on the floor, and crouch to eye level with toddlers for extended periods.
- Stamina: High energy level required to keep pace with young children throughout an 8-hour shift, including indoor/outdoor play and constant supervision.
- Lifting/Carrying: Ability to frequently lift, carry, or hold children weighing 10–40 pounds
- Agility: Ability to move quickly to ensure safety and respond immediately to unexpected situations.
- General Fitness: Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks (sweeping, wiping tables) and manage classroom furniture.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Implementation: Plan and implement hands-on, engaging activities (storytelling, art, sensory play) that foster cognitive, social, and fine/gross motor skills.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom according to NAEYC/state health guidelines.
- Caregiving: Attend to basic needs, including feeding, assisting with toilet training, diapering, and nap time supervision.
- Supervision: Provide active, constant supervision of children at all times, both indoors and on the playground.
- Communication: Maintain daily communication with parents regarding children’s milestones, behavior, and progress.
- Behavioral Guidance: Use positive behavior management techniques to encourage social interaction and conflict resolution among toddlers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred.
- Experience: Previous professional experience working with children aged 1–3 in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Certifications: CPR/First Aid Certification required.
- Attributes: Patient, creative, dependable, and possesses a high-energy, positive "can-do" attitude.

- In-person: This is an on-site position.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts.
