Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining the functionality and appearance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on various systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to logic controllers and other electrical components.
- Conduct residential painting and other aesthetic improvements as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and identify problems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with residents or staff.
- Lead small teams on larger maintenance projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Assist in welding tasks as required for repairs or installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance duties.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including logic controllers.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Experience in residential painting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Leadership skills to manage small teams effectively during projects.
- Proficient in welding techniques is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
