Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Operate POS systems for order processing and transactions.
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service at the front counter or drive-thru.
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items and specials to boost sales.
- Manage cash handling accurately during transactions and ensure proper register procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including bussing tables and cleaning kitchen equipment as needed.
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation practices to uphold health standards.
- Support team members in various roles, including kitchen prep, cashiering, or managerial tasks when needed.
Skills
- Previous experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or retail math is a plus but not required—training will be provided!
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and good communication abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is beneficial.
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is preferred but not mandatory; training will be available.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn new skills and support colleagues across roles such as kitchen work or front-of-house service.
