Junior Project Manager (Career Track to Project Manager)
Pay: $52,000 base salary (paid hourly) + Monthly Performance Bonus (up to $24,000 annually)
Location: Primarily office-based with occasional field visits
Build a Career, Not Just Find a Job
We're looking for an organized, driven professional who wants to build a long-term career in project management. This is not a dead-end administrative position. It is the training ground for our Project Managers. We work in the property restoration industry on mostly residential homes that have filed a property claim for water damage with insurance.
As a Junior Project Manager, you'll learn every aspect of the operational side of managing construction projects. You'll work directly with experienced Project Managers, learning the systems, financials, scheduling, customer communication, and project workflows that make successful projects happen.
If your goal is to eventually lead projects, manage customers, and earn a six-figure income, we'd like to meet you.
What You'll Do
You'll support our Project Managers by assisting with:
- Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Preparing work orders
- Coordinating job starts
- Building and maintaining job budgets
- Working with the scoping team
- Sending contracts and documents for customer signatures
- Preparing invoices and collecting payments
- Reading and monitoring project dashboards
- Participating in project progress meetings
- Coordinating communication between customers, vendors, and team members
- Keeping projects organized and moving forward
- Other operational and administrative responsibilities that support successful project execution
This position is primarily office-based, with occasional field visits to observe projects and gain practical experience.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Wants to become a Project Manager
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Enjoys solving problems and managing multiple priorities
- Can work independently while supporting a team
- Is comfortable learning software and business systems
- Has a college degree (preferred but not required for exceptional candidates)
A working knowledge of residential construction or how homes are built is helpful, but it's not required. We've found that organized, personable people who are eager to learn often become our best Project Managers.
Career Growth
This position is designed to lead directly into a Project Manager role.
