Commercial Appliance Repair Technician Job Description
$1,200–$2,500 per week (based on experience & performance)

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair commercial appliances across a wide range of categories: commercial refrigeration, ice machines, cooking equipment, dishwashers, laundry, and more
- Perform preventive maintenance services for commercial accounts on scheduled intervals
- Conduct condition assessments, and maintenance documentation for commercial clients
- Deliver clear, professional communication to facility managers, directors, and residential customers
- Provide cost estimates and obtain approvals before commencing repairs
- Order parts as needed and ensure efficient use of company materials
- Collect payment and close work orders accurately in SmartWare
- Serve as a technical resource and informal mentor to junior technicians
- Represent Mr. Appliance with professionalism and reliability on every call
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on commercial appliance repair experience
- Strong background in commercial refrigeration, cooking equipment, or commercial laundry preferred
- Refrigerator sealed system knowledge and hands-on repair experience
- SmartWare experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical bulletins
- Multi-brand diagnostic capability across refrigeration, cooking, and laundry categories
- High first-time fix rate mentality — you diagnose thoroughly before you order
- Professional presentation and genuine comfort interacting with commercial facility staff and residential clients
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift or maneuver 50 lbs
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is always a plus

Benefits & Pay
The pay range for this position is $1,200 to $2,500 weekly, depending on your experience in appliance repair. You also will have the opportunity to earn bonuses and commissions.
