Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and industrial systems across our properties. Your leadership will ensure that all facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and industrial systems.
- Manage facilities maintenance teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to established procedures.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Troubleshoot engineering issues related to mechanical systems repair, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), HVAC system repair, and plumbing system maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Read and interpret schematics for electrical wiring, mechanical systems, and HVAC components to facilitate repairs.
- Oversee maintenance repair procedures, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs while coordinating with vendors and contractors.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for accountability and reporting purposes.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions on safety regulations and best practices for team members.
Experience
- Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams in a manufacturing or hospitality environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools such as multimeters.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to industrial maintenance, electrical systems (including high voltage), HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and general facilities management.
- Experience with CMMS software for work order management and preventative maintenance planning.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to lead teams effectively and ensure clear instructions are followed.
- Ability to perform engineering troubleshooting on complex mechanical or electrical issues using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
