Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS for processing orders, payments, and cash handling efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment to ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while processing payments swiftly using POS systems.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly during busy hours.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and ensure guest safety at all times.
- Contribute to a lively atmosphere by managing bar operations during peak hours, including nightclub or catering events if applicable.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in fine dining, nightlife venues, or hospitality settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic demeanor.
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to develop creative beverage recipes and adapt to evolving guest preferences.
- Previous restaurant or food service experience that demonstrates multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry best practices including food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service.
