True Fashionistas is seeking an experienced, energetic, and people-focused Assistant Store Manager to lead our team and oversee daily store operations. This position is responsible for driving sales, developing employees, delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining strong merchandising standards, protecting company assets, and supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Development
- Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop store employees.
- Create a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment.
- Schedule employees, manage attendance, resolve coverage issues, and review timecards.
Customer Experience and Sales
- Lead the team in providing exceptional, personalized customer service.
- Monitor store performance and develop strategies to improve underperforming areas.
- Professionally address customer questions, complaints, and concerns.
Store Operations
- Oversee daily sales, staffing, merchandising, marketing, inventory, and operational activities.
- Open and close the store while ensuring all procedures are completed accurately.
- Plan, prioritize, and delegate responsibilities based on customer and business needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming store environment.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and all applicable employment requirements.
Merchandising and Marketing
- Ensure merchandise is presented in an attractive, organized, and effective manner.
- Use visual displays, promotions, and store events to increase customer engagement and sales.
- Work with the management team to execute marketing strategies and brand initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail management experience with demonstrated success.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of sales, merchandising, inventory, and retail operations.
- Knowledge of fashion trends and brands is highly desirable.
- Experience using point-of-sale, scheduling, inventory, and management software.
- Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Physical and Scheduling Requirements
- Ability to lift and move merchandise, racks, fixtures, and boxes weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and remain active for extended periods.
- Flexibility to open and close the store and work extended hours when needed.
- Ability to travel locally when necessary.
- Availability outside regular business hours for store emergencies.
