Unity Health is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technician for a full-time onsite contract assignment in Athens, GA. The ideal candidate will have experience operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging while following all radiation safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate nuclear medicine cameras and imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images
- Position patients accurately and select proper technical imaging factors
- Prepare, administer, and properly dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to protocol
- Follow radiation safety procedures and departmental guidelines
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of images and documentation to PACS
- Verify image quality, patient information, and lead markers
- Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions promptly
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe department environment
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures when required
RequirementsMinimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technician experience
- Strong understanding of radiation safety practices
- Experience with PACS and diagnostic imaging procedures
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
