We're seeking an experienced CNC Machinist II who takes pride in producing precision-machined components while maintaining the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Haas CNC mills and lathes, with the opportunity to operate machines with 5-axis capability.
- Produce precision-machined parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions.
- Adjust tooling, work holding, and machine offsets.
- Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet quality requirements.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
Qualifications
- 3 years of CNC machining experience preferred.
- Experience with Haas CNC mills and/or lathes.
- Familiarity with 3-axis or 4-axis.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and mechanical blueprints.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and indicators.
- Knowledge of G-code and M-code.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
