Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and order picker equipment
- Load and unload trucks safely with pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and other material handling tools
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software
- Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit, adhering to shipping & receiving standards
- Conduct regular stock checks, inventory counts, and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy
- Assist with warehouse distribution activities, including organizing stock in designated areas and stocking shelves
- Support shipping logistics by preparing shipping labels, completing documentation, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and trade compliance standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or related logistics roles; familiarity with warehouse distribution is highly valued
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or MRPs, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing
- Experience operating forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other handling equipment
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records of shipments and inventory data
- Excellent customer service skills to support internal teams and external partners effectively
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and international trade regulations is a plus
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks throughout your shift
