American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of MRI experience for a 13-week outpatient clinic assignment, with first-time travelers welcome.

Outpatient clinic setting in an MRI department
-
Performs general MRI exams including implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac MRI
-
Multiple shift options available: 5x8s (12:30 PM–9:00 PM), 4x10s (10:30 AM–9:00 PM), or 3x12s (8:30 AM–9:00 PM)

Saturday coverage required from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

No call requirements

May float between two outpatient locations

Charting performed in Epic

Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required

Current BLS (AHA) and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required

SC state license is not required for this position; license required if applicable

A radiation dosimetry badge is required and must be provided by the candidate's agency prior to start

SSN and Driver's License required for consideration

Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are given priority

Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront, as RTO requests submitted after the initial process may not be approved

Orientation modules are completed prior to the start date

Teal top and black pants scrubs required

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties
