Start your shift in Waukesha, WI, partnering closely with your team and Supervisor, Manufacturing. You’ll set up and run production equipment to turn raw metal into precise, finished components used across our customers’ operations.
POSITION TYPE:

From the first blueprint you review to the last part you stack, you’ll ensure quality, safety, and throughput are always in balance.

Interpret shop drawings/blueprints to determine machine setup, adjustments, and material needs.

Set stops, guides, scales, jigs, or templates to the specified length and geometry.

Monitor machine operations to catch defects or malfunctions early.

Measure workpieces to verify accuracy and conformance to specifications.

Stack, mark, and package finished parts for downstream processes or shipment.

Perform basic machine care such as oiling machines, dies, and workpieces.

Lift and move materials by hand or with power hoist/crane or forklift as needed.
Fiber laser, brake press, saw, tube bender, iron worker, shear, and roll former to cut, form, and shape metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures.

1+ year of related fabrication experience or a comparable mix of education and training.

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings/prints.

Solid math skills (fractions/decimals) and calculator use.

Proficient with a tape measure.

Basic computer skills in Windows and comfort with an ERP system.

Proficiencies: Tape Measure Reading; Blueprint Reading.

Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs; occasionally more than 100 lbs when flipping parts (depending on part).

Color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Frequent twisting, turning, grasping, reaching, bending, pulling, and extended standing.

OSHA-approved safety shoes with metatarsal guards, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and grinding/cutting shield when operating grinders or power cutters.
