Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians, Advanced Practice Providers and nursing staff with patient examinations, lab tests, and medical procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures, and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Conduct vital signs and provide patient education on medication usage and medical conditions.
- Perform ECGs, phlebotomy, medication administration, and other medical procedures as needed.
- Assist with in office surgical procedures and coordinate pre-op and post-op care.
- Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize medical terminology and physiology knowledge to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare providers.
Requirements:
- Current EMT-B, EMT-A or EMT-P License
- Knowledge of internal medicine and medical-surgical procedures.
- Proficient with sterile technique
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
