We are seeking two (2) passionate and skilled Bakers/Pastry Cook to join our Commissary Kitchen. Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, cakes, pastries, and specialty desserts with precision and creativity.
- Decorate cakes and pastries using various techniques to meet presentation standards and customer specifications.
- Package baked items efficiently for retail display or catering orders, maintaining product freshness and quality.
- Assist in food production processes, ensuring all items are prepared according to recipes and safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to strict food handling and safety protocols.
- Support catering events by preparing baked goods and assisting with setup as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of all bakery items.
Skills
- Extensive pastry experience with proficiency in cake decorating, baking, and food preparation techniques.
- Strong knife skills for precise cutting, portioning, and presentation of baked goods.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in food industry environments such as restaurants or catering services.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment efficiently within a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent customer service skills to assist customers with product selections when required.
