Job Summary

Duties
- Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport pumpkins within the warehouse and distribution areas
- Use barcode scanners and inventory management systems to accurately track pumpkin stock levels and update records in real-time
- Select pumpkins with precision using order pickers and manual handling techniques to fulfill customer orders efficiently
- Pack and prepare pumpkins for shipping or display, ensuring quality control standards are met
- Maintain safety protocols by using personal protective equipment (PPE) during all manual handling and heavy lifting tasks
- Assist with inventory management tasks including stocking, stock rotation, and cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels
- Support shipping & receiving processes by loading/unloading trucks and verifying shipments against documentation
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Experience operating warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management systems is advantageous
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Prior experience in order fulfillment, packing, shipping & receiving, or quality control roles will be beneficial
