Education: N/A
Experience: entry level
American Red Cross CPR and/or first aid certifications preferred
Work Schedule: Seasonal Full time or Part time, days and shifts vary
Position Summary:
The Pool Monitor plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all patrons at public swimming facilities. This position involves checking members and guests into the pools, helping lifeguards in enforcing facility rules outside of the swimming area within the facility as set by community rules and regulations. Must be able to communicate community rules to members and guests. Excellent communication skills are required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Enforce amenity access rules and regulations as set by theAssociation in the rules and regulations

Monitor pool and facility area to prevent accidents and injuries

Communicate effectively with guests, addressing concerns and questions regarding pool operations in a professional and courteous manner

Assist with opening and closing procedures of assigned facility, including opening/closing of table umbrellas, pick up trash, and store all employee equipment in the closet at the end of the day

Assist lifeguards and head lifeguards in emergency situations by keeping the area free of patrons, contacting a supervisor and/or 911, and support proper documentation on incident/accident
