Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to roadside service calls to repair or replace commercial tires on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove, install, and balance tires with precision and care.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify tire-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, alignments, and general mechanical repairs when needed.
- Assist customers with tire sales, providing expert advice on tire selection and maintenance options.
- Lift heavy tires and equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred.
- Proven mechanic experience with strong automotive diagnostics skills.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, tire service procedures, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment.
- Experience in vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, alignments, and tire services.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining a focus on safety standards.
