- Paint Correction: Operate automotive buffers and polishing equipment to remove surface imperfections and achieve smooth, glossy finishes.
- Exterior Washing: Wash vehicle exteriors thoroughly, including windows and body panels, to ensure optimal cleanliness and shine.
- Interior Detailing: Assist with vehicle interior detailing and deep cleaning to maintain excellent overall vehicle presentation.
- Safety Compliance: Follow proper safety practices when handling chemical cleaning products and power buffers.
- Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure all specialized tools are properly stored and maintained.
- Team Support: Assist with heavy lifting tasks, parts movement, and general shop operations as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Technical Skill: Experience operating automotive buffing tools and performing paint correction techniques with precision.
- Safety Mindset: Knowledge of safe work practices related to auto detailing, chemical handling, and power tools.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform heavy lifting, and maintain the manual dexterity required for detailed work.
- Professionalism: Strong teamwork skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to high-quality customer service.
- Driving Experience: Basic driving skills and comfort moving standard passenger cars around the facility.
- Experience: Prior experience in an auto detailing or body shop facility is preferred but not required.
- Bonus Skill: Knowledge of window tinting is a major plus, but a willingness to learn is highly valued.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
