We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. Key responsibilities
- Repairs and maintenance:
- Fixing broken fixtures, plumbing, and electrical components.
- Performing carpentry work, such as hanging drywall, repairing doors, and fixing flooring.
- Conducting routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including changing air filters.
- Patching and painting walls.
- Inspections and safety:
- Regularly inspecting the building, grounds, and equipment to identify potential issues.
- Troubleshooting problems and performing or scheduling necessary repairs.
- Checking and maintaining the functionality of safety systems, like smoke detectors and fire alarms.
- General upkeep:
- Keeping common areas and facilities clean and sanitized.
- Performing landscaping duties and collecting trash.
- Responding to maintenance requests from work orders or supervisors in a timely manner.
- Administrative tasks:
- Maintaining logs of maintenance and repair work.
- Ordering supplies and managing inventory.
- Following company safety regulations and codes.
Necessary skills
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform a variety of repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to read and follow instructions, manuals, and blueprints.
