Overview
We are seeking energetic and motivated Landscape/Drivers/Lawn Crew members to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining outdoor spaces, operating grounds maintenance equipment, and supporting landscaping projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your outdoor work skills while contributing to the beautification of various properties.
Duties
- Operate landscaping and grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, excavators, and power tools to perform lawn care, tree trimming, and landscape installation.
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, irrigation system installation and repair, and hardscape construction.
- Drive company vehicles safely to transport crew members and equipment between job sites.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor activities to ensure a secure work environment.
- Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to support proper landscape care and pest management practices.
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
- Perform routine inspections of irrigation systems and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior outdoor work experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge of power tools, landscaping equipment, and irrigation systems is essential.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators or snow plows is a plus.
- Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management enhances your effectiveness in this role.
- Strong adherence to safety protocols and ability to follow detailed instructions are required.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques in landscape maintenance and construction.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is necessary for driving company vehicles.
