Duties
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Assist customers in selecting products and services that meet their preferences and financial goals
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and retail math skills
- Manage cash registers, perform cash management duties, and ensure precise cash handling during shifts
- Support banking-related activities such as loan processing and basic financial software usage when applicable
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain organized displays and ensure the sales floor is clean, welcoming, and well-stocked
- Utilize basic math skills and 10 key typing proficiency to handle transactions efficiently and accurately
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with banking or financial services can be advantageous for assisting with financial products or loan processing
- Strong communication skills combined with a positive attitude to build rapport with diverse customers
- Basic math skills including retail math, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
- Experience using financial software or point-of-sale systems is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to perform 10 key typing tasks quickly and accurately to support efficient transaction processing
