Position Summary
The Pharmacy Delivery Driver is responsible for safely delivering prescription medications and pharmacy products to patients, and other healthcare facilities. This role ensures timely deliveries while maintaining patient confidentiality and providing friendly customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prescription medications and pharmacy products to patients’ homes, assisted living facilities and other locations.
- Verify delivery information and obtain required signatures when necessary.
- Maintain the confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Handle medications carefully and follow pharmacy procedures for transporting prescriptions.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Communicate with pharmacy staff regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
- Collect payments when required and return them to the pharmacy according to policy.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Reliable vehicle and valid auto insurance
- Ability to follow confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Good communication and customer service skills.

Mileage will be compensated.
