CAMP Landscape Management
CAMP Landscape Management is seeking a skilled and dependable Irrigation Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing both residential and commercial irrigation systems.
The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, is comfortable working independently, and can diagnose and solve irrigation problems while providing professional service to our customers.
Position Responsibilities
The Irrigation Technician will install new residential and commercial irrigation systems, including irrigation pipe, valves, sprinkler heads, controllers, sensors, and related components. The technician will read and follow irrigation plans and site layouts, perform system start-ups and testing, and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper coverage and efficient watering.
This position will also service and maintain existing irrigation systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing system issues, troubleshooting valves, controllers, wiring, sprinkler heads, and piping, locating and repairing leaks, replacing damaged components, and programming irrigation controllers. The technician will perform seasonal start-ups, inspections, shut-downs, and winterizations while identifying system deficiencies and recommending necessary repairs or improvements.
The Irrigation Technician will work with both residential and commercial customers and is expected to communicate professionally when explaining system issues, repairs, and recommendations. The position requires accurate documentation of work performed and materials used, proper care of company equipment and vehicles, and maintaining clean and safe job sites.
Qualifications
- Irrigation installation and/or service experience preferred
- Residential and/or commercial irrigation experience
- Knowledge of irrigation components, controllers, valves, wiring, and piping
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work outdoors and perform physical work, including digging, lifting, bending, and carrying materials
