American Builders Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager who can independently manage multiple active renovation projects from award through completion.
This role requires strong field leadership, subcontractor coordination, budget control, scheduling, documentation, and client communication.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple multifamily and commercial renovation projects simultaneously.
- Review scopes, budgets, schedules, contracts, and site conditions before mobilization.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, schedules, and field resources.
- Track project budgets, change orders, labor, materials, and cost impacts.
- Conduct site visits, quality control inspections, progress meetings, and punch walks.
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, photos, daily updates, and project closeout records.
- Communicate professionally with clients, ownership, internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Identify project risks early and implement solutions before they impact schedule, budget, or profitability.
- Manage multiple trades simultaneously while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule expectations.
Required Experience:
- Experience in Construction management.
- Strong multifamily renovation, capital improvement, commercial construction, or insurance restoration experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Strong understanding of scopes, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and cost control.
- Experience reviewing proposals, change orders, and project financials.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, project management software, digital reporting, and construction documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with occupied multifamily communities.
- Experience managing projects ranging from unit turns and capital improvements to large-scale renovations.
