EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position supports consumer health by planning, organizing, and evaluating nutrition care throughout the hospital. It ensures that dietary needs are met through assessments, education, and collaboration with treatment teams. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will perform the following duties: Nutrition Planning: Plan and organize nutrition assessments, counseling, and education for consumersDiet Management: Write modified diets and recommend updates to menus based on consumer needsClinical Coordination: Participate in committees and meetings to recommend nutrition interventionsProgram Participation: Support performance improvement activities such as tray audits and peer reviewsRecord Maintenance: Maintain computer program records and prepare meal tickets as neededStaff Guidance: Provide direction to food service staff who support nutrition careInterested in learning more?
