Job Summary
The Vivid Lounge is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our wellness team. This position is focused on wellness-based services such as IV vitamin therapy, ozone therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, injections, and other supportive wellness treatments.
The ideal candidate is confident with IV starts, comfortable working independently within established protocols, and passionate about providing thoughtful, patient-centered care in a calm and welcoming environment. This role is a great fit for a nurse who enjoys functional wellness, preventative care, and helping patients feel supported in their overall health journey.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments prior to wellness treatments, including reviewing health history, assessing vital signs, screening for contraindications, and evaluating overall patient readiness for treatment.
- Start and maintain IV access for IV vitamin therapy and other approved IV treatments.
- Administer IV fluids, vitamins, nutrients, ozone-related therapies, injections, and other wellness services according to provider orders, established protocols, and clinic policies.
- Monitor patients throughout treatment for comfort, response to therapy, and any signs of adverse reaction or complication.
- Operate and monitor wellness equipment, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, according to clinic protocols and safety guidelines.
- Educate patients on the purpose of their treatment, expected experience, possible side effects, aftercare instructions, and when to notify the clinic with concerns.
- Accurately document all assessments, treatments, patient responses, education, and follow-up recommendations in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with providers and other team members to ensure safe, coordinated, and personalized care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment.
- Follow all infection control standards, regulatory guidelines, safety procedures, and clinic policies.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to IV therapy, ozone therapy, hyperbarics, functional wellness, and nursing best practices.
- Support the overall patient experience by creating a calm, professional, and welcoming environment.
Experience and Skills
- Strong IV start skills
- Previous experience with IV therapy, infusion nursing, emergency care, critical care, functional medicine, wellness services, or outpatient nursing preferred
- Familiarity with functional or integrative wellness practices is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing documentation, and safe medication administration practices
- Ability to work independently while following established protocols and provider guidance
- Strong assessment skills and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
- Current Basic Life Support certification required
