Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times accurately to guests.
- Assist in managing the flow of guests to ensure timely seating and service.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak times.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area.
- Utilize effective phone etiquette when answering calls for reservations or inquiries.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Excellent guest relations skills, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
