American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department travel assignment in Kenosha, WI at a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center, requiring TNCC/TNS and critical care skills.

Emergency Department setting at a Level IV Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, and Accredited Chest Pain Center with an active FNE program
-
ED has 21 beds plus a 6-bed annex within a 74-bed facility
-
Patient population includes all age groups

RN-to-patient ratio is 1:4 on both day and night shifts; tech ratio is 1:8
-
12-hour night shift (1900–0730), 36 hours per week

EMR: Epic (experience required)
-
IV pumps: Alaris; medication dispensing: Pyxis; monitoring: GE Monitors
-
Nursing station telemetry monitoring without a dedicated telemetry tech
-
Weekend rotation: one weekend per month
-
No on-call or call-back requirements
-
No floating required
-
Active WI or compact RN license required
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC or TNS, and CPI or MOAB
-
Minimum 2 years of ED experience required, with most recent experience within the last year

Critical care-level skill set required

Epic EMR experience required

At least 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the past year

Candidate DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Candidate's middle name or initial required for consideration

Unit support includes a charge nurse with a reduced patient assignment, in-house hospitalist and ED MD (24/7), HUC (24/7), and phlebotomy assistance for peripheral blood draws

Orientation consists of at least one shift to learn unit flow

Up to 7 days of time off may be approved during the assignment

Solid-color scrubs required; no graphics, logos, or designs
