The Blue Diamond range of condensate removal pumps, which has been designed for use in air conditioning and refrigeration applications, is a patented pumping principal, designed with the installer and end user in mind.
Position
Due to the continued growth in the product range and sales, there now exists an opportunity for a highly motivated and confident person to become the Condensate Division’s Internal Technical Sales Support. This is an office based role, being the first point of contact for the Division’s client base, answering technical queries, responding to product questions and forwarding customer details on to the external Sales Team where necessary.
Responsibilities
You will be the first point of contact for the Division’s product queries, methodically using the information supplied from jobsite based HVAC Technicians, assisting them in diagnosing incorrect application, troubleshooting, and technical questions, and efficiently applying the correct solution. You will also be following up and providing after sales support to customers.
You will need to develop an in depth knowledge of the Division’s product range and how they are applied.
You will develop an understanding of the Division’s market and its customers.
You will be expected to assist in order processing, pricing enquiries and stock availability, during busy periods or during staff absences.
You may be required to assist at local shows alongside the external Sales Team.
You will ensure all records are maintained in accordance with Company processes and that documentation is filed as soon as possible so that they can be available to others as necessary.
To provide support to the external Condensate Sales Team, including but not limited to, contacting customers, inputting orders onto the Company’s order system and ensuring customers are updated as to delivery times and coordinating with internal departments to ensure marketing materials are up to date and available.
Experience Required
To be a keen problem solver and technically minded, with an understanding of electrical wiring diagrams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to give clear, concise instructions to ensure queries are answered as professionally and as quickly as possible.
You must possess a service focussed attitude, dealing with requests as quickly as possible.
Be confident when taking calls and dealing with customers, either incoming calls or when returning or making calls.
You must be self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task, able to work alone or alongside the rest of the Team.
Previous technical experience with an energy and enthusiasm to make things happen is essential. Tenacity, highly motivated and confidence are key personal attributes along with a customer focused attitude and affable personality is essential.
The ability to grasp the complexities of technical products and align these to customer requirements.
Essential Criteria
Experience in a technical sales role. – HVAC or Electrical related is preferable but not essential
Understanding of sales processes.
Organised with acute attention to detail at all times.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent IT skills.
Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
