About Us
Casa Lago Italian Kitchen is a fast-growing, chef-driven Italian restaurant located near Lake Keowee. We take pride in serving scratch-made pizzas, fresh pastas, and authentic Italian dishes in a welcoming atmosphere. We are seeking an experienced and dependable Morning Prep Cook to help set our kitchen up for success each day.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and portion ingredients for daily service, including vegetables, proteins, sauces, dough, and specialty menu items
- Follow recipes and preparation standards with consistency and attention to detail
- Assist with making sauces, dressings,m, desserts, and other scratch-made items
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of prep stations, walk-ins, and storage areas
- Properly label, date, and store all prepared products
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate prep needs to kitchen management
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
- Support the line cooks and kitchen team as needed to ensure smooth service operations
Qualifications
- Previous professional kitchen and food preparation experience required
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment
- Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain quality standards
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Experience in Italian cuisine is a plus but not required

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Morning shifts, weekends as needed
