Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Answer guest inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and clarity.
- Coordinate reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent guest services and resolve any issues promptly.
- Support food service staff by assisting with guest needs during busy periods, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous host or hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of hotel or guest services operations is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
