Anderson Preparatory Academy Launch Pad is seeking a caring, dependable, and collaborative Assistant Teacher to support our child-centered preschool classrooms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education and creating meaningful learning experiences through exploration, creativity, and play.

Support the Lead Teacher in daily classroom activities and routines

Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment

Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members

Assist with classroom organization, cleaning, meals, and supervision

Encourage children’s curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth

Follow all licensing, health, and safety requirements

Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times

High school diploma or equivalent (must be 18+)

Experience working with children preferred

Ability to meet all state licensing and background check requirements

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and actively engage in classroom activities
