Our busy, team-focused dental office is looking for a Hygiene Assistant / Hygiene Coordinator to help keep our hygiene department running smoothly while supporting excellent patient care. - Office hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Assist hygienists during patient care as needed
- Turn over rooms and prepare operatories
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control
- Help keep the hygiene schedule organized and on time
- Seat patients and review health history
- Support patient flow and communication with the front desk
- Help with charting, X-rays, and patient education when needed
- Maintain supplies for hygiene department
Requirements
- Dental experience preferred but not required
- X-ray certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- CPR certification preferred
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Team-player attitude
