Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Class A CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers to transport tires and related materials efficiently and securely. This position will be primarily afternoon/evening shifts: starting at noon until the route is complete. Your responsibilities will include route driving, load & unload operations, and ensuring timely deliveries across various locations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with automatic or manual transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Drive various types of trailers including flatbed, 48-53' dry vans,
- Deliver freight promptly while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate routes and address any issues promptly
Experience
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- At least 2 years proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and delivery operations
- Familiarity with manual transmission trucks is preferred
- Experience operating flatbeds, 48-53' dry vans, and walking floor trailers
- Prior delivery driver experience involving freight load & unload procedures
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial trucking and transportation regulations

Pay: $25.00 per hour
