Qualifications/Education Requirements:
1. Water Safety Instructor Certification preferred or ability to obtain within six months of hire. (Starfish preferred but will accept YMCA and Ellis and Associates).
2. Lifeguard training preferred.
3. Must have thorough knowledge of teaching proper swim skills/strokes
4. Ability to communicate effectively with public and co-workers.
5. Knowledge and enforcement of pool rules and facility rules is a must.
6. CPR/First Aid required
7. Ability to work as a team member.
