Position Summary
The Hiring Coordinator owns the end-to-end employee lifecycle process — from recruiting and hiring through onboarding and offboarding. This role partners closely with the HR Manager and other departments to ensure open positions are filled quickly with qualified candidates, new hires are set up for a successful start, and departing employees are offboarded smoothly and compliantly. The Hiring Coordinator also supports broader HR initiatives, including employee relations, culture-building, and recruiting strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Hiring
- Own the full hiring process, including recruiting, interview coordination, onboarding, and offboarding
- Oversee spend on job boards and evaluate alternative recruiting strategies to maximize ROI
- Coordinate pre-employment steps (e.g., applications, scheduling, documentation) to help fill open positions faster
- Help facilitate job-site readiness requirements for employees and other departments, including background checks, fingerprinting, and accessibility accommodations
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Ensure training plans are created for every new hire and that they are set up for a successful first day and first week
- Maintain an up-to-date checklist and documented process for each incoming and outgoing employee
- Support employee documentation to ensure accurate, current, and compliant records
Job Roles & Workforce Readiness
- Help maintain up-to-date job roles and job descriptions across the organization
- Partner with other departments to help them stay prepared to manage and combat turnover
Systems & Employee Support
- Develop a working understanding of company HR/recruiting systems
- Provide basic troubleshooting support to employees on relevant systems and tools
HR & Culture Support
- Support the HR department with employee relations matters
- Help plan and coordinate culture-building activities and initiatives
Qualifications
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in HR, recruiting, hiring coordination, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple hiring processes simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working with documentation, checklists, and process tracking
- Ability to learn and troubleshoot internal systems and tools

Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the HR Manager.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
