Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Service vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations and wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for mechanical repairs while adhering to safety standards. Must have your own Tools and Toolbox
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings to ensure transparency and quality control.
Experience
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on dealership or independent shop environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across a broad range of vehicle systems including transmissions, gas engines, auto electrical systems, and powertrain components.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for precise troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ADAS technology, auto estimating procedures, welding techniques, and tire service is highly desirable.
- Experience working on GM and Chrysler vehicles is a plus but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Valid certifications in automotive repair or related fields are preferred; ongoing training is encouraged to stay current with industry advancements.

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
