Responsibilities
- Engage with customers through outside sales visits to understand their needs and recommend appropriate concrete products, accessories, and related materials.
- Cose sales effectively while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Manage account relationships by following up on inquiries, processing orders via POS systems, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Support marketing initiatives by participating in promotional events, merchandising displays, and product demonstrations to attract new customers.
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, stock levels, and customer interactions to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments within construction, renovation, or lighting industries is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of construction processes enhances your effectiveness in this role.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills combined with organizational skills to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for pricing estimates and retail math accuracy.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, merchandising, stocking procedures, and customer service best practices.
