Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. As an RN, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients' health and well-being through effective communication and clinical skills.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in their condition.
- Assist with pain management strategies and provide ostomy care as needed.
- Perform venipuncture and assist with laboratory tests.
- Conduct IV infusions and ensure proper documentation of all medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and treatment options.
Skills
- Proficiency in pain management techniques.
- Experience with ostomy care procedures.
- Familiarity with medical office operations and protocols.
- Background in emergency room settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of home community care practices.
- Competence in venipuncture and laboratory procedures.
- Ability to perform IV infusion therapy effectively.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
- Excellent skills in medical documentation and record keeping.
