We're opening one of Georgia's first dispensary-format medical cannabis pharmacies, and we're looking for a Pharmacist-in-Charge to lead it from day one. This is a founding operator role, not a bench seat. You'll own the floor, the team, the compliance, and the P&L, and you'll share directly in what you build.
Georgia's medical cannabis program is growing fast. With flower and vaporizers approved as of July 1, 2026, and qualifying conditions expanding, this is a category on the way up, and a rare chance to get in at the ground floor of something new rather than maintaining someone else's decades-old operation.
A different kind of pharmacy job
- No PBM adjudication, no insurance billing fights
- No sterile compounding, no controlled-substance vault, no DEA registration
- No immunizations, no drive-thru, no corporate performance metrics
- One clean, high-margin product line — medical cannabis and hemp products
- A modern, retail-forward store designed to feel like a dispensary, not a back-counter afterthought
If you're a strong pharmacist who's tired of being a cog in a 9,000-store machine, this is the role where your judgment and your effort actually move the outcome.
What you'll do
- Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge for all dispensing operations
- Run day-to-day store operations: staffing, scheduling, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Own compliance end to end, GDNA readiness, seed-to-sale tracking, patient registry verification, and record keeping
- Hire, train, and lead your technician team
- Deliver knowledgeable, genuine patient care and education to registered medical cannabis patients
- Partner directly with ownership on store performance and growth
What we offer
- $120,000–$135,000 base salary (depending on experience)
- 15% share of store net profit, paid quarterly — realistic total compensation of $150,000–$170,000+ as the store ramps
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Paid time off
- Company-paid Georgia license fees, continuing education, and professional dues
- Full indemnification and license protection, with company-retained pharmacy counsel available for compliance questions
- A real growth path: as we open additional locations, top performers move into a Director of Pharmacy Operations role with profit participation across multiple stores. This can take earnings to well over $200,000+
What we're looking for
- Active Georgia Pharmacist license in good standing
- Pharmacy management or Pharmacist-in-Charge experience preferred
- An operator's mindset, someone who wants to run a business, not just fill prescriptions
- Comfort working in a new and evolving regulatory space
- Strong leadership instincts and a genuine commitment to patient care
- Interest in building something from the ground up
Why this role
This isn't a maintenance job at an established store. It's a chance to open a business, lead it, and be paid like an owner when it succeeds. If you want autonomy, upside, and a break from the chain grind, and you want to be part of one of the first stores of its kind in Georgia, we'd like to talk.
After applying, you will get multiple screener questions. If you do not answer them or answer them without effort, your application will be rejected.
We are an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
Pay: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year

- Do you hold an active pharmacist license in Georgia?

- This is a full-time role requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, 5 days per week. Are you available for this schedule?
