American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring a MA RN license, ventilator/trach experience, and CCU or direct vent experience.

ICU setting within a hospital environment
-
Patient population includes critically ill patients requiring ventilator management, trach care, central line management, and telemetry monitoring
-
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
-
Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
-
36 hours per week
-
Floating to inpatient units (MSU) may be required
-
Active MA RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required
-
Ventilator and trach experience required, including central line management and telemetry capability

CCU experience or direct ventilator experience in a rehab hospital required

Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
-
Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for this position

Orientation includes two pass/fail exams: a medication exam and a telemetry exam — each allows only one attempt; failure results in immediate contract cancellation

Study materials will be provided prior to and during orientation to help prepare for exams

A pass/fail EKG test is also required

Candidates with prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license will not be considered
