American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU and pediatric experience for a day shift travel assignment in a hospital NICU setting.

NICU unit within an academic hospital setting
-
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
-
Every other weekend required
-
Coverage for at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract

Floating is required
-
Cerner charting experience preferred but not required
-
13-week contract

Current RRT credential required

Minimum 2 years of overall respiratory therapy experience, with at least 1 year in NICU
-
NICU and pediatric experience required

Missouri (MO) or Compact license required; license must be active (pending not accepted) — license required if applicable

Cerner EMR experience preferred

2 professional references required

Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more

Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to contagious illnesses

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced travel pay rate

Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to consideration

The facility operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; rotating shifts and work during inclement weather may be required
