We're looking for an experienced Recruiting Supervisor to lead a high-performing team of Recruiters and Onboarding Specialists supporting hiring across our growing organization. In this role, you'll coach and develop recruiting professionals, partner with business leaders, improve recruiting operations, and help build the workforce that enables children and families to thrive.
As a Recruiting Supervisor, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of Talent Acquisition while serving as a trusted advisor to operational leaders across your assigned region.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Recruiters and Onboarding Specialists.
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching and performance discussions.
- Balance recruiter workloads to ensure timely hiring support across multiple business units.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and exceptional service.
Talent Acquisition Operations
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting activities for high-volume hiring across multiple locations.
- Monitor open requisitions, candidate pipelines, and hiring metrics to ensure recruiting goals are achieved.
- Partner with recruiters to develop sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill positions.
- Personally recruit for leadership, confidential, or business-critical roles as needed.
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience from application through onboarding.
Strategic Business Partnership
- Partner with operational leaders to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities.
- Provide guidance on recruiting strategies, labor market trends, and workforce planning.
- Identify hiring risks early and recommend solutions that improve recruiting outcomes.
- Build trusted relationships with leaders that support long-term hiring success.
Recruiting Performance & Operational Excellence
- Monitor recruiter productivity, service levels, and recruiting metrics.
- Conduct pipeline reviews and recruiting huddles to remove obstacles and improve hiring speed.
- Identify opportunities to streamline recruiting processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both recruiter productivity and candidate experience.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure recruiting and onboarding activities comply with federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws.
- Maintain hiring compliance across the United States and Canada.
- Support audits, documentation standards, and quality assurance initiatives.
What You'll Bring: We're looking for someone who combines strong recruiting expertise with proven leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of full-cycle Talent Acquisition experience.
- 1+ year of leadership, supervisory, or recruiting team lead experience.
- Experience supporting high-volume, multi-location recruiting environments.
- Experience coaching recruiters and improving recruiting performance.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
- Experience using recruiting metrics and dashboards to improve results.
- Excellent communication, coaching, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Experience
- Multi-state recruiting experience across the United States.
- Experience supporting Canadian recruiting and hiring compliance.
- Background in childcare, education, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or other high-volume service industries.
- Experience supporting organizational growth through acquisitions or new location openings.
- Experience leading recruiting process improvement initiatives.
