CDL Driver - Rigger - Warehouse Associate
We are looking for a CDL A Driver that can also help in the warehouse and assist the rigging team. This position will be all 3. Looking for someone to join our 100 year old rigging company. Ideal candidate is someone with 1-5 years experience in the construction industry that's looking to learn a new trade. Great opportunity, stable company, long lasting skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that equipment and tools used in the rigging department are properly maintained.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Assist Rigging Supervisor and Warehouse Manager with everyday functions.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Work with Crane Operators and Riggers to hoist material.
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Skills
- Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
- Ability to use hand tools
- Eager to learn the industry
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Perform functions in other areas of the shop as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Forklift experience
- High school degree or GED Equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- CDL license
