Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiotherapy practices, with experience in diverse clinical settings. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will support licensed therapists by implementing treatment plans, assisting patients with exercises, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized care plans for patients of all ages.
- Support patient care by demonstrating therapeutic exercises, trigger point therapy techniques, and modalities to promote recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatment accurately in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized and maintained according to safety standards.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention strategies, and post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques relevant to diverse patient populations.
Skills
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy, physiotherapy modalities, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practice.
- Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs while adhering to clinical guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
