Job Overview
Private Client Services, LLC, an ESOP Company, is hiring! The Finance/Accounting Manager leads day-to-day accounting operations, oversees the monthly close and key reconciliations, and ensures accurate, timely financial reporting. This role supervises AP/AR staff, strengthens controls and processes, and partners with the CFO and FINOP to support audit readiness and growth in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist; assign work, set priorities, support development, and ensure cross-training and backup coverage.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including managing the close calendar, deliverables, and internal controls across PCS and related entities.
- Strengthen internal controls (including segregation of duties) and develop, document, and maintain SOPs for key financial processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable activities across multiple business units.
- Manage and reconcile corporate credit cards and oversee vendor billing activity.
- Lead the annual PCS and FINRA renewal invoicing process through Salesforce, maintaining billing structures, account/contact data, and PIC designations.
- Support key clients with customized billing reports and payment tracking.
- Serve as a liaison with clients, vendors, and external partners, including system developers.
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights that support leadership decision-making.
- Resolve payment discrepancies and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing required documentation.
- Identify and drive process improvements and support special projects.
- Provide administrative and financial support to designated accounts (Creative Benefits, KFG, and Jefferson County Development).
- Administer Salesforce dashboards and maintain SharePoint financial documentation hubs.
- Perform additional duties and support initiatives as needed.
Experience
- BA or BS degree and/or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Pro, and Advanced Excel skills.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with demonstrated responsibility for month-end close and reconciliations; experience supervising staff and maintaining procedures/controls.
- Financial services industry experience is preferred.
Pay: $68,900.00 - $88,500.00 per year
