American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position at a large Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Neuro ICU experience and night shift availability.

Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Short-term acute care hospital setting within a large Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center (1,500+ beds)

Neuro ICU unit with average patient ratios of 1:2 on both day and night shifts
-
Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call responsibilities

Charting is performed in Epic
-
Parking is available at a cost of approximately $125/month

Active CT or Compact RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required

Prior experience at a large Trauma Center required

No prior disciplinary actions or priors on nursing license

1 professional reference required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate

Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler

RTO of up to 7 days may be auto-approved; requests exceeding 7 days require facility approval

Block scheduling is not available for this position

Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted

COVID vaccination and booster are required, with religious or medical exemptions considered

Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
