POSITION OVERVIEW The Ashland-Greenwood Public Schools Foundation is seeking Site Supervisors to lead day-to-day operations of the Junior Jays Kids Club (JJKC) at the Primary School. This role is ideal for a dependable, child-centered leader who values positive relationships with children, families, and school staff.
ABOUT THE JUNIOR JAYS KIDS CLUB Junior Jays Kids Club is a licensed school-age childcare program serving students and families in the Ashland-Greenwood community. JJKC operates within district facilities and is committed to providing a safe and engaging environment that supports children’s development before and after school.
QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate is at least 19 years of age and meets Nebraska DHHS School-Age-Only Program Staff requirements. Prior experience working with children in group or educational settings is preferred, though the Ashland-Greenwood Public Schools Foundation is committed to training and supporting the right individual for this role. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to lead and support a team in a child-centered environment. The Site Supervisor must be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, complete all required background checks, and meet applicable DHHS credential requirements. The Foundation will provide and pay for required training, professional development, and credentialing support to ensure success in the role.
